OUR STORY
Grizzly Peak was founded in 2017 by long time growers and passionate smokers from Northern California. Our company’s name pays tribute to the Grizzly Peak summit located in the Berkeley Hills, famous for giving birth to the cannabis culture and smoking community in the Bay Area dating all the way back to the 1960’s. Our logo captures the essence of being up on Grizzly Peak; the breathtaking views of the Bay Bridge that connects the Oakland skyline to San Fransisco, the life-long friendships made over sharing a joint, and all the nostalgic memories made up there. We celebrate the hard-working people and Oakland community while being committed to continuing this legacy by giving smokers a taste of the Grizzly Peak experience in every hit.
WE GROW OUR OWN TO ACHIEVE PEAK PERFORMANCE OF EVERY PLANT
We grow all our moms from seed and focus on continuously developing our own unique proprietary-owned genetic strains. No outside clone cuttings are ever allowed into our farm to ensure that we have complete control over everything that’s grown. We’re obsessed with ensuring that the best quality and care is given to our products starting from seed to sale. We oversee everything from cultivation and packaging, to branding and distribution.
WE’RE IN LOVE WITH NATURAL COCO
We grow all our flower in natural coco coir. This growing medium provides more aeration to the plant’s root zone and allows it to maximize the absorption of nutrients. The result provides a smoother exhale for an even better smoking experience.

ALWAYS FRESH
We operate out of 3 facilities with 1400+ light fixtures in Oakland, giving us capabilities of producing 15,000 lbs. of premium craft cannabis per year, harvesting a fresh crop every 3.5 days. We grow with 2 strains per room which allows us to have 2-4 strains of new product every week.
QUALITY AND SAFETY IS KEY
We feed our plants with high quality nutrients, make our own salt feeds, and ONLY use OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) approved organically sourced pesticides. We’re dedicated to always taking the right steps so we can deliver the best product in the safest way possible.

Grizzly Peak was the first fully licensed cultivation facility to operate in Oakland since 2017. We are a vertically integrated company that grows, trims, packages, sells, and distributes in house.
